Notes: Abstract: This parasitoid was introduced from Pakistan and India to California for biological control of the California red scale, Aonidiella aurantii on citrus (lemon); culture maintained at 25 degrees C and a photoperiod of 14:10 (L:D) h.; in this experiment females feeding on host and honey ad libitum produced more eggs and lived longer than a control group given no host meal.
