    • Notes: A new soft scale insect species, Luzulaspis filizae Kaydan sp. nov. (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha: Coccidae), is described and illustrated based on the adult female and first-instar nymph. The new species was collected on Carex sp. (Cyperaceae) in Adana, Turkey.
