Bruwer, I.J. 1984 [Parasitism of the long mussel scale, Insulaspis gloverii, in South Africa.]. Technical Communication (South Africa Department of Agriculture and Water Supply) (192): 23-25.

Notes: In population studies of the long mussel scale, Insulaspis gloverii (Packard) (Homoptera, Diaspididae), to determine the percentage of parasitism, it has been found that the two parasites Aphytis lepidosaphes and Aspidiotiphagus citrinus are ineffective. In the Nelspruit area the percentage parasitism caused by these two parasites was 11.1% and 4.3%, respectively.
