Brooks, R.F., & Whitney, J.D. 1973 Citrus snow scale control in Florida.. [First World Congress of Citriculture.] I Congreso Mundial de Citricultura. International Society of Citriculture Murcia 718 pp.
Notes: [Conference held on 29 April - 10 May 1973 in Murcia-Valencia, Spain.] Citrus snow scale, Unaspis citri (Comst.), has developed into a major pest of Florida citrus. Prior to 1960, this scale insect infested less than 1% of the state's citrus groves. At the time of this paper, 40-45% of the groves harbor this pest and approximately 25% with serious economic infestations. Several insecticides are evaluated for control against this pest.
