Blumberg, D., & Swirski, E. 1988a [On biological control of the Mediterranean black scale, Saissetia oleae (Olivier), in Israel.]. Israel Agresearch 2: 45-56.
Notes: In the 1970's population levels of S. oleae increased considerably in citrus and olive groves; nine species of African hymenopterous parasites were introduced into Israel with varying degrees of success and evaluated for control of S. oleae, S. coffeae, Coccus hesperidum and Protopulvinaria pyriformis.
