Notes: This scale is an important quarantine pest on Actinidia deliciosa; density measurements made of occurrence on experimental fields of both kiwifruit and neighboring taraire; results show that greedy scale can invade kiwifruit orchards in high numbers from adjacent host plants such as taraire.
