Notes: Abstract: Dormant season applications of 3.5 and 7% lime sulphur on kiwifruit gave good control of lichen but poor control (less than 18% kill) of all stages of latania scale (Hemiberlesia latania); lime sulphur treated wood prevented greedy scale (Hemiberlesia rapax) crawler settlement for at least 47 and 85 days after spraying at the 3.5% and 7% rates respectively; recommendations for timing of lime sulphur applications given.
