Notes: In this book from the USSR, the authors deal with the species of Coccoidea that have been accidentally introduced into the Moldavian SSR and have spread in the republic. The main emphasis is placed on Quadraspidiotus perniciosus and Pseudococcus comstocki. Details are given of the morphology, development, distribution, food-plants, harmfulness and control of each. Sections are included on the species that do not at present occur in the republic but may spread there and on the collection and preservation of Coccoidea.
