Notes: Only nine species of insects have heretofore been known to occur on the Orange plant in West Bengal. In this research 29 species are presented, with their general appearance, seasonal incidence and the nature of their damage to their host plants. Aonidiella aurantii, Ceroplastes floridensis, Chrysomphalus ficus, Labioproctus polei, Mytilococcus gloveri and Saissetia hemisphorica (hemispherica?) are among those discussed.
