Notes: This species heavily infests Aspidistra elatior and Euonymus japonica. This scale is produced in large numbers on the host plant, squash. Comperiella bifasciata is one of the most effective parasites of this scale. Other parasites include Aphytis diapidis, Aphytis sp., Azotus chionaspidis, Casca chinensis and Marietta carnesi.
