  • Notes: This study was carried out at Diyarbakır and Elazığ Provinces in 2012 year.The samples were made in peaches, plums , almonds , apricots, apples and cherries orchards. 55 trees in 140 fruit orchards were sampled. It was determined that the samples included 8 species of Coccoidea (5 species of Diaspididae and 3 species of Coccidae). These species are Partholecanium corni (Bouché), Sphaerolecanium prunastri (Boyer Fonscolombe), Palaeolecanium bituberculatum (Targ. and Tozz.), Lepidosaphes ulmi (L.), Mercetaspis halli (Green), Salicicola archangelskyae (Lindinger), Parlatoria oleae (Colvee) and Melanaspis inopinata (Leonardi, 1913.The most widely distributed species are Mercetaspis halli and Sphaerolecanium prunastri. Apple, peach and plum are the trees with the most specimens.
