Argyriou, L.C., & Katsoyannos, P.I. 1977 Coccinellidae species found in the olive groves of Greece.. Annales de l'Institut Phytopathologique Benaki 11: 331-345.

Notes: In a programme of sampling and spraying carried out in the main olive-growing areas of Greece, twenty-eight species of Coccinellidae were identified on olive trees heavily infested with black scale, Saissetia oleae. Seven of them (Chilocorus bipustulatus, Exochomus quadripustulatus, Exochomus flavipes, Lindorus lophanthae, Scymnus apetzi, Scymnus subvillosus and Scymnus frontalis were bred on black scale in the laboratory, where they reproduced successfully. Four of them (Nephus (Sidis) jordanensis, N. flagellisiphonatus, Pharoscymnus ovoideus and Stethorus punctillum) had not previously been recorded in Greece. Life cycle of Chilocorus bipustulatus.
