Argyriou, L.C. 1986 Integrated pest control in citrus in Greece.. Integrated Pest Control in Citrus Groves: Proceedings of the Experts' Meeting. A.A. Balkema Rotterdam, Netherlands 545-548.
Notes: The successful biological control of Diaspididae scales (Aonidiella aurantii, Saissetia oleae, Lepidosaphes beckii and Chrysomphalus dictyospermi and the decline of the population of Ceratitis capitata after using bait sprays, in citrus groves, brought a change in the control programs of the other citrus pests in Greece. Therefore the key pest of citrus trees is the mealybugs. As biological control on mealybugs failed, new factors are studied in order to determine the most profitable pest management practices.
