Notes: This study was focused in the determination of entomological pests in pineapple plantations in the rainforests of the Department of Junín, Peru. The results of this work confirmed that the “pineapple fly” Melanoloma viatrix Hendel, which attacks the fruit, was the most serious entomological problem.
