Notes: Pulvinaria ribesiae Signoret is a minor pest of currant and gooseberry in the UK. Although scale insects on bush fruit may be controlled by winter washes and are likely to be susceptible to appropriately timed summer sprays of malathion and certain other insecticides, no treatment is specifically recommended for control of this scale.
