Notes: Euaphycus variolosus is endoparasitic on Asterolecanium variolosum, which is a pest of Quercus robur L. Neither the host-coccid nor the parasite has more than one generation a year, and the life-cycles are so adjusted as to enforce stable 'host-parasite' relationship.
