Notes: The cottony camellia scale, Pulvinaria floccifera (Westwood) (Homopetra: Coccidae) attacking different economic crops in Egypt. Surveys and abundance conducted during 2002 and 2003 in different locations in Egypt revealed that 22 natural enemies were associated with this pest (10 parasitoids and 12 predators). Abundance of these natural enemies indicate that the parasitoid, Microterys flavus (Howard) (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) was the promising species in controlling this pest. The maximum parasitism rates reached 66% during October, 2003. While, the predator, Exochomus flavipes Thrum was recorded as a dominant predators on the cottony camellia scale. The maximum numbers reached 65 individuals/30 leaves during September 2003.
