Notes: Aphytis sinaii, a newly recorded species from Aonidiella aurantii (infesting Ficus nitida [F. benjamina] in Sinai Peninsula, Egypt), is described for the first time. The depository for the holotype of A. sinaii was designated in the Plant Protection Research Institute, Agricultural Research Centre, Dokki, Giza, Egypt.
