Remarks
- Systematics: This species is very similar to T. verticale.
- Structure: Theca about 3.2–3.8 times as long as wide when fully formed, usually broadly rounded on head margin, broadly rounded or almost truncate on posterior end. Antennae each represented by a thickened and fleshy seta arising on the bottom of a vase-shaped dermal pocket and projecting outside for its larger part (Takagi, 2022)
