Remarks
- Systematics: The Stigmacoccus paranaensis female differs from S. asper because it does not have a sclerosed area in the head. It has no long pores, spines or a reticular pattern in the dorso-medial region. Stigmacoccus paranaensis differs from S. garmilleri by having antennae with less than 10 segments and by having groups of locular pores along the strongly sclerotic on the walls of the vulva.
- General Remarks: Description and illustration of adult female, female cyst stage and first instar nymph by Foldi (2006).
