Systematics: Subfamily DIASPIDINAE Tribe DIASPIDINI Subtribe CHIONASPIDINA (Normark, et al., 2019) Serrachionaspis is near Pinnaspis, but differs in having more dorsal macroducts and more marginal macroducts on the pygidium (Young, 1986).
