• Systematics: Subfamily: Pseudococcinae (Choi & Lee, 2022)
• Structure: The color of the females in the New Zealand genus Sarococcus is usually green, but in the type species S. fagi. (Gavrilov-Zimin, 2026)
• General Remarks: Good definition and characters given by Williams & de Boer (1973) and by Cox (1987).
