Remarks
- Systematics: Among the forms referred to Rutherfordia this species is unique and peculiar in having stalked scleroses on the pygidial margin. In other features it shares some characters with other species of the genus. (Takagi, 2021)
- Structure: Adult female at full growth attaining ca.2mm in length, robust; head broadly rounded along vertex; pro-thorax broadly lobed anterolaterally, meso-and metathorax and abd I–III strongly and IV weakly lobed laterally; pygidium nearly triangular, little rounded along free margin.
