Remarks
- Systematics: Subfamily: Eulecaniinae. Tribe: Eulecaniini.
- Structure: In life, adult female at maturity strongly convex, almost spherical, with margins bent underneath body, and with various grooves and rows of indented spots on dorsum; often with colourful bands. Slide-mounted body with dorsal surface much larger than venter. Stigmatic clefts shallow or absent. Stigmatic setae differentiated, numbering 2 per spiracular cleft, shorter than marginal setae, each spine bent, bluntly pointed. Dorsal tubular ducts present or absent; preopercular pores absent. Anal ring simple, apparently without pores and
bearing either very short or no setae. Venter with 1‒3 pregenital segments each bearing a pair of long setae (Moghaddam & Watson 2024).
