Keys
Remarks
- Systematics: P. mkuzei is similar to P. psidii but can be separated from it by the lack of dorsal tubercles, and by the much longer and spinose marginal setae. (Hodgson, 1968)
- Structure: Dried material pale greenish brown in color and when mature, heavily ridged across the median region, with the posterior third raised at a steep angle ad lying on top of the ovisac. Ovisac rather closely felted, white about the same width as the adult female but up to 3 times as long. Slide mounted adult female 3.5 mm long and 2.5 mm wide. Dorsum membranous, with numerous minute simple pores, each surrounded by a pale area in well stained specimens; dorsal spines short and spinose; a small tubular duct is found sparsely throughout. (Hodgson, 1968)
- General Remarks: Description and illustration of adult female by Hodgson (1968).
