Remarks
- Systematics: Although De Lotto (1979a) assigned this species to Borchsenius (1953) genus Pulvinariella, his division of the genus Pulvinaria has been controversial. Most recent authors have chosen to follow Gill (1988), Ben-Dov (1993) and Hodgson & Henderson (2000) and returned the species that were placed in Pulvinariella to Pulvinaria.
