- Systematics: Subfamily DIASPIDINAE Tribe LEPIDOSAPHIDINI (Normark, et al., 2019)
Pudaspis differs from Diaspis in having only a median pair of lobes, the marginal pores relatively small and no larger than the dorsal pores an the pygidial gland spines replaced by several conspicuous plate-lie structures a pair of which occur between the median lobes (Hall, 1946a).
