Remarks
- Structure: Translucent pores in posterior tibia; eyes without discoidal pores on the edge or associated with the eyes; with 17 pairs of cerarii; Tubular ducts with oral rims behind C1 and between C2 and C3, in abdomen close to C16; ducts with oral rims in segment I of the ventral abdomen (based on Williams and Granara by Willink 1992).
- General Remarks: Good description and illustration of the adult female given by Williams & Granara de Willink (1992). Williams & Granara de Willink (1992) stated that the material named P. ephedrae (Coquillett), variety by Cockerell (1902f) belongs to this species.
