Remarks
- Systematics: urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:AB75F5D8-7BDF-42D4-9DA9-13F4DFD1D43F This species is similar to P. chinensis (Cockerell, 1896) in body shape and the number of pygidial lobes, but can be distinguished by the following features (those for P. chinensis in brackets): 1) dorsal macroducts absent on abdominal segment VI (present); 2) L1 prominent the pygidium (sunken into the pygidium). (Wei & Feng, 2012a)
- Structure: Adult female body outline fusiform, derm membranous except for pygidium. Normally widest at metathorax and abdominal segment I, lateral abdominallobes well-developed, with large gland spines on the margin of prepygidial and pygidial segments. Cephalothorax. Antennae each with 1 long fleshy seta. (Wei & Feng, 2012a)
