Remarks
- Systematics: Unlike other members of the genus Monophlebus which have 11-segmentd antennae and multilocular pores with a round unilocular center, M. neglectus has antennae which have 6-8 segments and pores with a tringular trilocular center. (Gavrilov-Zimin, 2018)
- Structure: Adult female broadly oval, up to 10 mm long. Antennae 6-8 segmente, covered with flagellate setae of different thickness. Trochanter with three sensillae on each face; claw elongated, without denticle; claw digitules short, setose. Mouthpart well developed. (Gavrilov-Zimin, 2018)
