Remarks

• Systematics: Subfamily DIASPIDINAE Tribe LEPIDOSAPHIDINI (Normark, et al., 2019) The genus Madaparlaspis may be differentiated from Parlatoria and other allied genera by the occurrence of well-developed, sclerotized processes arising from the bases of the median and second lobes. The extraordinary development of the pygidial lobes is also characteristic (Mamet, 1962).
