Remarks
- Systematics: Subfamily DIASPIDINAE Tribe LEPIDOSAPHIDINI (Normark, et al., 2019)
Koroneaspis is erected on the basis of the 2 long macroducts which extend to about twice the length of the median lobes from the median pygidial interval (Bodenheimer, 1943).
Koroneaspis is very close to the genus Lepidosaphes, but differs in following characters: (i) 2 ventral macroducts present between median lobes (L1); (ii) L1 large, not divergent; (iii) median gland spines absent or much reduced. (Moghaddam & Watson, 2021)
