Syntypes, female and first instar, Type depository: Davis: The Bohart Museum of Entomology, University of California, California, USA; accepted valid name Notes: Chamberlin (1923) supposed that the host plant was "manbhum", but Kapur (1958) clarified that Manbhum is the name of a district.
