• Systematics: Subfamily DIASPIDINAE Tribe LEPIDOSAPHIDINI (Normark, et al., 2019) Kandraspis can not be confused with any other genus of Diaspidini. The 4 pairs of pygidial lobes, none bilobulate, very numerous short two-barred ducts and the 7 groups of perivulvar pores are all distinctive (Mamet, 1959a).
