Remarks
- Systematics: Originally described in the Eriococcidae, this species was transferred to the Pseudococcidae (Matile-Ferrero, 1984)
- Structure: Adult female body broadly oval, up to 2 mm long. Antennae 8-segmented. Legs short and thick; hind coxae, femurs and tibiae with numerous translucent pores. Circulus absent. Multilocular pores forming transverse rows on abdominal sternites and occasionally present on ventral side of cephalothorax. (Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin, 2015) Matile-Ferrero (1984) noted the present of large trilocular pores in all nymphal stages. Gomez-Menor Ortega (1928) described males.
