- Systematics: Subfamily ASPIDIOTINAE Tribe AONIDIINI (Normark, et al., 2019)
The genus Genaparlatoria differs from Parlatoria in having a sclerotized prosoma
(Williams & Watson 1988) Normark, et al., 2019 determined that this genus had been incorrectly synonymized with Parlatoria and he revived the genus based on his phylogenetic analysis.
