• Formosaspis huangshanensis Zhang 1999. Type data: CHINA: Anhui Province Huangshan City, on Indocalamus sp., 5/29/1991, by Zhang Xuefan. Holotype, female, by original designation Type depository: Huang-shan: Forest Protection and Quarantine Station, Forestry Bureau of Huang-shan City, Anhui, China; accepted valid name Notes: 18 paratypes with same information as holotype. Illustr.

Remarks

• Systematics: This species is somewhat similar to Formosaspis nlgra (Takahashi)，but differs from the latter in the absence of ceraspines below the mouth and between metaspiracles.
• Structure: The female body shape is long and narrow. The test of female in life is yellowlsh.
• Biology: It is found on the lower surface of the leaves of the host.
