• Systematics: Subfamily DIASPIDINAE Tribe LEPIDOSAPHIDINI (Normark, et al., 2019) Faureaspis is close to Paraleucaspis but differs in the complete fusion of the lobes in the adult and in having monolobulate second lobes in the second instar (Munting, 1968a).
