Remarks
- Systematics: GenBank accession numbers DQ145321, DQ145320, DQ145433, DQ145432, GU349091, GQ425042, GQ425041, DQ873231 and DQ868819 were previously determined to be Duplachionaspis noaeae, but Normark, et al., 2019, referred these numbers to Duplachionaspis sicula.
- Structure: Adult female elongate oval, 1.2 mm long and 0.9 mm wide, prepygidial segmentation well marked by lateral constrictions (Ezzat & Afifi, 1966). Slide-mounted adult female oval and membranous. Anterior spiracles each associated with 2–5 pores; posterior spiracles each associated with 0–2 pores. Pygidium with 2 pairs of lobes. Median lobes (L1) divergent, recessed into pygidial margin, each lobe with parallel sides and rounded apex. Inner lobules (L2a) of second lobes larger than L1, each with rounded apex; outer lobules (L2b) well developed but smaller. (Moghaddam & Watson, 2021)
- General Remarks: Detailed description and illustration by Ezzat & Afifi (1966).
