Remarks
- Systematics: Diaspis carmanicus is close to D. syriaca which is also found on Pistacia species (Davatchi & Balachowsky, 1956).
- Structure: Female scale cover circular, slightly convex, white; exuviae central or subcentral, light brown. Male scale cover elongate, with three longitudinal ridges, and white in colour. Microscopic diagnosis: Adult female pyriform, prosoma wide, completely membranous. Anterior spiracles each associated with 2 or 3 pores, each pore with 5 loculi; posterior spiracles each associated with 1 pore only. Pygidium with 4 pairs of lobes. (Moghaddam & Watson, 2021)
