Remarks
- Systematics: Subfamily DIASPIDINAE Tribe LEPIDOSAPHIDINI (Normark, et al., 2019)
Dentaspis is close to Inchoaspis, but in that genus the females are unusually large, whereas in Dentaspis the reverse is the case (Hall, 1946a).
- Structure: Body small, fusiform to globose with delicate hyaline dermis. Mouthparts, typically, unusually close to the anterior margin. Anterior spiracles situated in a shallow but clearly defined pit (Hall, 1946a).
