Keys
Remarks
- Systematics: Because ScaleNet does not agree with the lumping of the many margarodoid families into the Margarodidae as suggested by Gavrilov-Zimin (2018) it has been necessary to assign the new taxa described in this publication into the family organization used in ScaleNet. Thus, we have placed Eremostoma klugeri Gavrilov-Zimin and Crambostoma largecicatricosum Gavrilov-Zimin in the Coelostomidiidae even though the latter has several characteristics of the Monophlebidae.
- Structure: Adult female broadly oval, about 6 mm long, Antennae 9-segmented, covered with flagellate setae of different thickness. Trochanter with three sensillae on each face; tarsus with unusual group of small conical setae in the apical part; claw without denticle; claw digitules short with pointed apices. (Gavrilov-Zimin, 2018)
