Remarks
- Structure: Body elongate, stout; cephaloprothorax with a pair of small marginal protuberances a little anterior to the anterior spiracles; meso- and metathorax and abd I-III lobed laterally, especially metathorax and abd I and II strongly produced to form digiti form processes; pygidium broad, obdeltate. - Biology: Females burrowing into the epidermis of the twigs. Males occurring mainly on the upper surface of the leaves; a few tests were found on the lower surface of the leaves and on the twigs; tests white, made of fluffy wax. (Takagi, 2003)
