• Systematics: Subfamily DIASPIDINAE Tribe DIASPIDINI Subtribe DIASPIDINA (Normark, et al., 2019) The type species was assigned to a new genus Chilesaphes, with a pigidium with a wide middle opening(?) with 5 pairs of reduced lobes, the first pair crenulated, and the marginal macropores and their lateral projections are anterior to the fifth abdominal segment. (González, 2016) Esta especie al nuevo genero Chilesaphes, en cuyo pigidio se hacen notar su amplia abertura media con 5 pares do reducidos lobulos, el primer par crenulados, los macroporos marginales y sus proyecciones laterales anteriores al quinto segmnto abdominal. (González, 2016)
