Remarks
- Systematics: Subfamily: Filippiinae.
- Structure: In life, adult female broadly oval, flat. Dorsum with two broad brownish red stripes running from about eyes to anal plates. Pieces of white wax scattered over dorsum. Slide-mounted, body with large bilocular figure-of-eight pores on dorsum. Stigmatic clefts lacking; marginal setae spinose and extending up margins of anal cleft; stigmatic setae not differentiated from marginal setae. Legs each without a tibio-tarsal articulatory sclerosis. Anal cleft shallow and quite wide. Anal plates each with a sharply spinose discal seta, and spinose setae present on inner margin (Moghaddam & Watson 2024).
