Remarks
- Systematics: The adult males of B. longa belong to the group of asterolecaniid males that have some very long setae on their antennae. It differs from the others in having the following combination of character-states: (i) themembranous area of scutum with reticulations, and (ii) a penial sheath several times longer than basal width. (Hodgson, 2020)
