Structure: Female scale subcircular, broader than long, flattened, dirty white. Exuviae yellow (Kaussari, 1955a). Male scale cover linear, colouration as for female. (Moghaddam & Watson, 2021) Slide-mounted adult female oval, membranous. Thoracic tubercles represented by 1circular spot of pigment on each side of prothorax. Anterior spiracles each associated with 2 disc pores; posterior spiracles each associated with 0 or 1 pore. Pygidium with 2 pairs of lobes; median lobes (L1) small, conical, contiguous except for an apical median separation; second lobes (L2) each bilobed; L2a subquadrangular, conspicuous, larger than L1, L2b small, slightly prominent, rounded or conical, sometimes absent. Gland spines present on segments VI–VIII, singly or in pairs on each side of segments V and VI, 3 or 4 on each side of segments II and III. Anal opening subcircular, situated at centre of pygidium. Dorsal marginal macroducts, each with an oval orifice with long axis perpendicular to margin, present on abdominal segments VI and VII; segments IV and V with submarginal and submedian ducts. Dorsal microducts present as submedian groups on segments I–III and metathorax, rarely present also on prothorax and mesothorax. Ventral surface with perivulvar pores in 5 groups.
