Remarks
- Systematics: This species is similar to the figure of Aulacaspis pseudospinosa in Chen, 1983, but differs in having much fewer perivulvar disc pores and dorsal macroducts. The dorsal mcroducts are often absent in the submedian or submarginal row or in both on the second abdominal segment. (Takagi, 2015)
- Structure: Adult female body moderately robust; prosoma swollen, distinctly wider than postsoma, nearly quadrate, tending to be sclerotic, prosomatic tubercles slightly produced; metathorax and abdominal segments I and II nearly the same in width, abdominal segment II not being stronly lobed laterally. Anterior spiracles each with a crescent-shaped cluster of numerous disc pores; posterior spiracles each with a much smaller cluster of disc pores. Perivulvar disc pores numerous especially in antero- and posterolateral groups. (Takagi, 2015) Spiracular disc pores not counted exactly owing to crowding, and sometimes also owing to ventral derm overhanging lateral margin of anterior cluster; ca. 22–45 associated with each anterior spiracle, and 4–13 with each posterior spiracle. (Takagi, 2015)
