Aulacaspis malayala Varshney 2002. new name (unpublished) Notes: Unnamed sp. mentioned by Takagi & Williams, 1998:64. Varshney (2002) named the species [A. malayala] and based it on the information provided by Takagi & Williams including the locality data, and indicated that this was the "type specimen." Since there was no indication of where the type specimen(s) were deposited and no indication of a holotype, the species is considered a nomen nudum.
