- Systematics: Among the species associated with Macaranga, this species is characterized and recognized by a smaller body and the fewer spiracular and perivulvar disc pores and the few dorsal macroducts. (Takagi, 2012a)
- Structure: Body small, fusiform, or at full growth, rhombic with thoracic region expanded laterally;Anterior spiracles each accompanied by 2-4 disc pores; Posterior spiracles with no disc pores. (Takagi, 2012a)
